Welcome to the Fort Vancouver Chapter, NSDAR
Vancouver, Washington
Welcome from the Fort Vancouver Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), a non-profit, non-political women's service organization.
Located in historic Vancouver, Washington, the Fort Vancouver Chapter, NSDAR, was organized in 1919 and is an active chapter within Washington State. Our chapter joins members within Washington State and DAR members around the world who are dedicated to keeping our American heritage alive by promoting patriotism, supporting educational programs, and preserving our American history.
Our enthusiastic members come from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds; professional women, stay-at-home moms, students, grandmothers, single and married; all who share one common tenet: we value our history and take pride in our American Revolutionary War Patriots. Some of our members are brand new to DAR while others have been a part of DAR for over 63 years.
The women of the Fort Vancouver Chapter, NSDAR, proudly demonstrate the NSDAR motto of "God, Home and Country" through their dedicated service to the Vancouver community. Members of our chapter tirelessly volunteer their time and energy by engaging in a variety of activities that honor and support military veterans, military families, schools, and the historic preservation of our beautiful state of Washington.
